I've listened to shortwave for some time. I ran across this site about 1 year ago last january. I'm not in here all of the time. We spent most of ast year preparing the other house for sale, and moving. We also spend as much time on our motorcycle as we can, and like bluegrass music, and the bluegrass festivals. I find your site very informative, especially for someone like myself. I read Pop. Comm mag, and have for many years, and still have all of the mags.I also like citizenband radio. It's reallly nice to find the english broadcasts all in a row without having to go through a book. - Thanks - Howard

I stopped by...because I decided I would learn about solor flares and various other items that effect shortwave listening. From what I've seen of the sight it is very well put together. When I finish understanding what it's all about I will reacess my findings, but I'm sure they'll be just as favorable as now. Thank you for all the work you have put into this site. I'm sure I'll be reading for awhile. -- Bill Fisher/ Southern California Area DxerS

I am impressed with your page, and it has very much usefull info on it. I have been absent from hamming for the past 15 yrs, but kept my license current, and now that I am retired, and getting back into it in a specialty form. Have built much Heath-Kit equipment in the past, but now of course they being out of business, I have found another quality kit, and am now building an Elecraft K1 unit, as I am only going QRP, and CW. I find that your page has so much educational material, and sites available that I am spending much time. Keep up the good work, but don't see how you can get so much done without being retired Hi Hi! Luck To You - Lee :)

I have been a ham for 43 years, and an SWL for about 50 or more. Recently, I have longed for a site where you can enter a freq, and get a list of possible broadcasts that might be on that freq. Your site does just that. A real treat! My main interest in ham radio is working dx. I now have 333 confirmed out of the current 335 countries. But, I always go back and enjoy the swl'ing, just like I did many years ago. Keep up the good work! 73 de Jim K4PYT

I stopped by...As I've told you before, I could have used you in the 70's. A group of dedicated 80 Meter DXer's figured out a lot that is reflected in the data you provide, when plugged into many of the propagation programs (like wave angles at specicfic times, etc) Many of us did not believe in ON4** very simplistic (at that time) view to propagation...Then of course there is 160M, and the Near Resonance of the Geo-Magnetoshere. Only now do I hear a few Amateurs discuss the phenomena of

Hi. As a Shortwave Listener, I enjoy most aspects of radio. If I had to chose a favorite pass-time in radio however, it would most likely be Broadcast Band listening. I find the pages in 'hfradio.org' very useful as a quick reference. I also find them reasonably accurate and up-to-date, which given the speed at which things change in this hobby, is really quite amazing. I found this site by clicking on a link found on Reflections Europe ( a station which I discovered by accident and could not find in any other reference material that I have available ). An excelent site, keep up the good work. RAO Robin
