JRC NRD-545 advice please!

Hi
I just bought a new JRC NRD545 receiver and noticed that the rear panel gets extremely hot. I have owned a lot of SW sets over the years and never had one that gets like this. Just curious if this is normal for this particular radio or if there could be a problem.
